1. Currency

Product prices and order totals are displayed in euros unless another currency is clearly shown.

2. Accepted payment methods

Velmara accepts the payment methods displayed and enabled at checkout.

Availability may depend on the customer's device, location, currency, order value and the payment provider's requirements.

3. Payment authorisation

When an order is submitted, the selected payment provider may authorise or charge the payment.

An order may be delayed or cancelled if payment cannot be authorised or if additional verification is required.

4. Secure payment processing

Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment providers enabled for the store.

Velmara does not intentionally store complete payment-card details on its own systems.

5. Prices, taxes and fees

The amount charged by Velmara is shown at checkout before the order is submitted.

Any taxes or charges collected by Velmara are included or itemised in the checkout total.

Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion, financing or account fees. Those charges are not collected by Velmara.

6. Failed or declined payments

If payment is declined, check the billing details, available balance and payment-provider restrictions.

Velmara cannot override a bank or payment provider's decision.

7. Fraud and security checks

Orders may be reviewed to protect customers and the store against fraud, unauthorised transactions and abuse.

Velmara may request reasonable verification or cancel and refund an order that cannot be verified.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method in accordance with the Refund and Return Policy.

Velmara does not normally send a refund to a different account or payment method.

After Velmara issues a refund, the time required for it to appear depends on the bank or payment provider.

9. Payment confirmation

An order confirmation is sent to the email address entered at checkout.

Contact Velmara if you believe you were charged but did not receive an order confirmation.
